ROUNDTABLE DESIGN REVIEW REHASH
WORDS OF ADVICE was the first happening of a series of events presented in the context of the LIGNES DE FUITE Annual Fundraiser. This roundtable design review centered around the projects of LaSalle College's recent graduates and finalists of the prestigious ARTS OF FASHION FOUNDATION COMPETITION 2022, William Crosson and Della Maria took place on October 21st at WIP.
The two LIGNES DE FUITE protegés presented their projects developed under the guidance and mentorship of Milan Tanedjikov and Céline Chicoine in the framework of the LIGNES DE FUITE Mentoring Program at LaSalle College. The discussion was moderated by Patricia Chaykin and featured prominent industry experts who shared ideas and advice on how young designers could further develop their collections with marketability in mind. The experts taking part in the discussion were Océane Stanislas, Senior Buyer at Simons, Olivia Rubens, Founder of Olivia Rubens designer label and winner of the renowned 2022 International Talent Support Designer Competition, Dylan Kwacz, Acting Director at The Suzanne Rogers Fashion Institute at The Creative School at Toronto Metropolitan University and Milan Tanedjikov, Founder and Editor-in-chief at LIGNES DE FUITE, Full-time Design Teacher at the International School of Fashion, Arts and Design. LCI, Montreal and lecturer at École supérieure de mode - ESG UQAM.
