Joshua Boudreau is a queer multidisciplinary artist and emergent fashion designer based in Tiohtia:ke/ Mooniyang/Montreal. Through a mixture of garment making, installation, performance, and sculpture, they explore ways to challenge societal views of reality. Their work aims to build a bridge between

the physical and the abstract by inviting the viewer to question consciousness and venture into the

unknown. Joshua references futuristic aesthetics and uses organic tones and materials hoping to

broaden the understanding of existence in the world in which we live and the time ahead.

Vladim Vilain’s visual arts career began in Haïti, where he spent most of his early life before relocating to Canada following an earthquake. Currently based in Montréal, Vladim’s artistic practice incorporates surrealism to shape conceptual spaces and narratives. His personal work is driven to understand Black identity as interpreted through the literary and cultural aesthetic of Afrofuturism. Vladim directs fine arts projects and also works as a commercial photographer with a focus on fashion and music.
